My Spa Business Has Grown
I’ve been an esthetician for nine years. I recently advanced my education and became a master esthetician. It was eye opening to see how our profession has changed since I graduated. Im sure it will still grow with new technology. I was concerned that after graduation I would not have any reliable source for education to keep up to date. Ideally I was looking for some continuing education even though our state does not require it. Don't think the just because your state does not require continuing education that you should not get it. Continuing education from quality sources only improves your overall knowledge so you can bond to your clients .
My small spa has grown just by attending an all day workshop in micro-needling. Learning from a physician with my master esthetician peers gave me the confidence to add this amazing treatment to my menu. I have increased my clients confidence in me and my revenue followed. Joining an association is a must.
